Thursday Swimming 50 minutes

I swam a mile again. Yesterday I worked on my car for a few hours and I felt every single muscle I used while I was swimming today!

I'm taking the week off from running because my left knee is still bugging me off and and on. Plus, a wedding trip at the end of the week.

Wednesday Biking while pulling the bike trailer (1 hour)

For about 10 minutes of that I was pulling the 4 yr old and the 20 month old. I picked her up from preschool and took her home while I was out biking.

Monday Biking while pulling the bike trailer (1 Hour) + 60 push ups

Whew! I definitely feel like I got a strength workout for my legs from that. I also added 6 sets of 10 push ups when I got home. I'm hoping between push ups and pulling the trailer, I can keep my strength up until my left knee lets me do JM again.

I also spent 5 hours trying to help a gal from church change her brakes. Her rotors would not come off! I was tired by the end of that.

Wednesday Running 1 hour (while pushing the jogging stroller)

It was raining pretty steadily the whole time. The baby did not get wet until I kid you not the last TWO MINUTES of the run though. It started sheeting rain really hard and the wind blew it sideways so I couldn't keep it out of the stroller. It was 70+ degrees so no harm done, I was just laughing that it waited until the very end to get my 19 month old wet.

I swam a mile (35 laps) and then added 5-6 laps with the flippers and kickboard.

Monday Biking (while pulling a bike trailer) 50 minutes

That was hard workout! I got a bike trailer at a yard sale on Friday for $5. How cool is that? I just had to put on a new inner tube for one of the tires. It works awesome otherwise.

I did a short hard run on the hard trail at SIUE. I worked in 7 sets of 10 push ups (70 push ups total) since I only did one formal strength workout this week.

Thursday Running 1 hour (while pushing the jogging stroller)

I think I got about 4 1/2 miles? I could see the turnaround point that would make it 5 miles total. So close! Yesterday was supposed to be my rest day, but moving a dryer out of the basement and moving the new dryer into the basement is suprisingly complicated and hard on the body! I might need another rest day tomorrow. Whew!

I did JM30DS Level 2 with 10 lb weights and extras with the 20 lb weights. I swam 20 laps in the evening as well.

Monday Trail Running 90 minutes

I missed my trail run on saturday due to having a cold that knocked me flat on my back for 2 1/2 days. Geesh! Today felt glorious and magical as a result of being cooped up I think. I missed nature I guess.
