Three cheers for Liz! Hooray, hooray, hooray!!
I skipped yesterday because I was beyond tired for some stupid reason (stress, much?), and slept like all day. Today, I came back strong with 30 minutes at 11.5-12.5 mph for a total of 6 miles covered. Oh, yeah, baby!
Er. Do any of you ladies have any ideas on strength workouts for legs that will help me to balance them out? The one I broke is ridiculously weaker than the other one, and it's throwing my hips and back way out, in addition to being cramping like a million charley horses all day. I'm on meds for the cramping and nerve pain, but I would love to get off them. Sick sick SICK of taking a million different medications everyday. Thanks girls!

Maybe you should ask about physical therapy from your doctor? I bet a physical therapist would have a million and one good suggestions.
Otherwise, I would wear a leg weight (5 lbs) on the weak leg and just leave it on all day while I did chores, cooked, etc. Also, you could do leg lifts before exercising on your bike, or just while you watch television or read a book.
hm. not bad ideas timpani. i asked my doctor about physical therapy, but he didn't seem in favor. i don't think my insurance covers it, maybe. i'll give the leg lifts a shot. ;)
