Good for you! Bruce says he's worked out some kind of half swim half pushing off the bottom of the pool technique for me to learn to do. We are going to the pool tomorrow to work on it. Every year I tell myself that I really need to learn to swim, but every year I don't do it. Really, it's a matter of paying money to get into a pool, and having the time to practice. My hugest barrier is the sticking my face in the water to breath thing. I just can't do it. But if Bruce's technique works, maybe I won't bother. He says I won't have to do the face in the water breathing thing, it won't wear out my legs like running the pool, and it's also pretty fast. I hope it works. The only problem is that it wouldn't work for a short person, or in deeper water. But since I'm tall, and since WR is the only tri that I really do, who cares? I hope it works, and that I can get it down. That'd be awesome!
