Okay so I suck at a diet!! Darn chocolate! I'll never lose any weight.
Tuesday I ran hills with the group. I skipped the COB hills, but still I did a hard 6 HILLY miles.
Thursday I ran my stairs for 40 minutes.
Friday I ran 6 miles.
I'll have to do something today. Blah!

You worked out 3 times, including lots of running. That does not sound like sucking to me!
Have you thought about a "rest day" for you diet? This is where you have one day a week where you can eat "forbidden" things, like chocolate. This girl I used to work with lost her weight pretty effectively this way. She said, don't go crazy, just give yourself a break from the diet one day a week. Just a thought.
