On the HARD trail. Woot! I got to try out my new Altra Eves barefoot style running shoe. I ruined my vibrams in the wash right after I sprained my toe. The Eves were awesome! I also did 5 push up sets every 5 minutes until got up to THIRTY push ups. I think I might integrate push ups into my trail running workout to get my "third" strength workout each week. I'm having no luck getting a third one in other ways :P

With 10 lb free weights, except for the last set which I switched to 5 lb free weights (so 1/6 of the workout was with 5 lb free weights). I'm still feeling that caulking job from Sunday too!

With 10 lb free weights. I did not realize how much caulking for an hour can work your arms/shoulders/neck muscles (the kids broke a window yesterday). My muscles were pretty mad about this workout, but I pushed through. I'm glad tomorrow is a run day though!

Wednesday JM Level 2 (25 minutes)
I used 10 lb free weights for the first two sets, and then I moved to 5 lb free weights for the last set. The burn on my stomach did not seem bothered at all this time!
ETA- I'm trying a 3 good meals a day with a fruit or veggie for snacks only "diet" this week to see if I can take off some of the baby weight.

Monday JM 30 Day Shred Level 1 (25 minutes)
With 10 lb free weights. My stomach burn feels a little better, but it still looks gross. I knocked it back to Level 1 just to be safe. I also did laundry, cleaned 2 bathrooms, and took 2 small children on errands for an hour.

Saturday Trail Running 35 minutes
On the hard trail. My mouth is feeling better, but now my burn keeps losing chunks of skin and is really painful. Also, I gained ANOTHER pound this week. That makes me now TWELVE pounds from my pre-baby weight. Blargh.

Woot! I had to take a few days off for a wisdom tooth being pulled on Monday afternoon. I was happy that I was able to jump right back into running an hour, and with the resistance of pushing a stroller too!

Monday Trail Running 1 hour
I finally got my hour of running in! I think that's only the 3rd or 4th long run I have had since T was born. It felt really good running today too after T's medical troubles last week. No more sick babies!
