Saturday Running 30 minutes

On a paved trail. I just walked around yard sales with the kids for several hours yesterday. My girlie time is hitting me hard this time :P

Thursday Running 1 hour

20 minutes on the road (with big hills) and 40 minutes on the dirt trail. Now that mom is watching both the little kids, it's easier for me to just park at her house and run out of her neighborhood to get to the dirt trail. It's the part of the #3 trail that I discovered a few months ago.

Friday swimming 30 minutes

20 laps. 5 freestyle, 5 back stroke, 5 freestyle, and 5 back stroke. And, I also sewed for 2 hours trying to make a quilt for S's birthday next week.

Friday JM 30DS + Extras (35 minutes)

Level 2 with 10 lb free weight and extras with the 20 lb weight. I did some moves standing up to take it easy on my back. Also- yard saling with 4 kids for an hour.

Thursday Trail Running 45 minutes

On the HARD trail. My legs were pretty tired from that hike yesterday too. I went to the left (as opposed to the right as usual) and it looks really different. I think I have not been on that side of the hard trail since the tornado hit last fall.

Wednesday Hiking 90 minutes

While pushing the baby in the jogging stroller. I also had to carry an almost 4 yr old for about 15-20 minutes in there too. She did really good until the last 30 minutes, which was more than I expected given her age. The two older kids helped some with the baby in the jogger while I was carrying their younger sister ;)

I felt pretty bushed the whole run (evening run) until the runner's high hit right at the end. Woohoo!

Monday JM 30 Day Shred Level 2 + Extras (40 minutes)

I did JM with 10 lb free weights. I skipped squat thrusts and did not crouch down as low for most of the motions to take it easy on my back. The extras took 15 minutes because I was also trying to take it easy with those moves.

ETA- I also vacuumed out my van for 20 minutes and have been doing laundry all day (with heavy lifting help from the older kids).

Tuesday Walking 90 minutes

I hurt my left lower back with helping pack up a house AND cleaning out all the heavy stuff in my basement for 2 hours on Sunday. I think I will be doing "good for you back" exercises only this week. I always forget that I need to take it easy since I have to carry a baby with me everywhere (which is hard on the back).

I came home and the ceiling collapsed in Big E's bathroom. That was not what I had planned for this afternoon. It took 2 hours to fix and my upper body is TRASHED. I'm not sure if I will be able to swim tomorrow as I had planned or not.

JM with the 10 lb weight and extras with the 20 lb weight. I finally remembered to include some chest presses. It was harder today! I think it's because I just did it on MOnday. Whipping myself back in shape for the strength workouts I guess. Also- teaching myself how to quilt on a machine.

My time is improving (I think last time it was 42 minutes). I'm battling a nasty headache, but I'm still going to try to walk with the little kids in the double stroller later. ETA- Walked for 1 hour with the little kids in the double stroller.
