Saturday Running 3 miles (45 minutes)

I was slowed down by the 9 yr old boy on roller blades trying to keep up with me the whole way. Also- walked around the Science Center for 2 hours.

I'm Home!

Well, I've been home for a week now, but John had me all booked up practically from the moment I got off the plane.  I hit the ground running, and didn't have a whole lot of time for much of anything besides cleaning and cooking and getting ready for company, and not just for Thanksgiving, lol! 
However, I did keep up with the working out while I was gone.  My friend introduced me to Zumba, which has become my new favorite workout.  It's SO much fun, and such a good workout!!  So, in those two weeks, we did an hour of Zumba 5 times, and a half hour of strength training once.  And yes, you read that right, an HOUR of Zumba, which is basically an hour of dance.  Freaking AWESOME workout!!
I ate like utter crap while on vacation, but between the Zumba and staying extremely active with the sightseeing and such, I only gained two pounds. :D
Then today I ran a mile.  Well, I ran the first half mile with only two little 30 sec. walking breaks, and walked the last half mile.  And I did it twenty minutes!  Which is way faster than I've ever done it, and that half mile is the longest I've ever run with out a significant break as well.  The Zumba paid off, lol!

10 minutes back stroke
5 minutes freestyle
10 minutes backstroke
5 minutes freestyle 

Plus- one hour house cleaning and taking care of a cranky sick two year old all day!

Monday Running 3 miles (42 minutes)

Not too bad on time since I had to take a walking break after every mile. 

Also- spent 45 minutes in an awkward standing on a night table and window sill trying to free a bird trapped between two parts of my bedroom window. It was super frustrating, but exhilarating to see the bird fly away after all that work!

There was a big hill involved that almost killed me too. Such a nice day for it though. Sunshine and 50 degrees are a great combo!

With 10 lb free weights. I think I will stick with workout 2 until the end of the pregnancy since it seems the most "belly friendly".

Also- walked for almost an hour while pushing my 2 year old in the double stroller.

10 minutes breast stroke
10 minutes freestyle
10 minutes back stroke
5 minutes kick board 

Plus, cooking and laundry. I did two workouts today because the end of the week looks crazy busy and will probably not let me have time/resources for a run or swim.

Monday running 40 minutes (3 miles flats)

My right calf gave me very little trouble this time. I'm glad I took it easy on Saturday.

Also, went to the doctor this morning and had to do that horrible orange soda blood sugar test again. Here's hoping for normal blood sugar!

The Past Three Days

Wednesday was a Bad Day.  I didn't get a workout in, so there goes my perfect workout week!  I think it's okay though.  I've been trying hard, and doing pretty good over all.  I'm happy with myself.
Thursday, I did 40 minutes of strength training.
Today, I tried to workout, but it didn't work.  My heart rate went immediately to 220, and just kept climbing, so even though I only did five minutes, I had to stop.  I have no idea what's going on there.  Maybe I'm just too stressed out right now to really hit my cardio properly.  I'll be working on it at my friend's house, not Dana.  She's into Zumba and such, so it should be a nice change up for me.  Dana is very ill right now (prayers please!), so I asked another friend, and she didn't even hesitate, even though I asked her just day before yesterday, and we will be getting in tonight.  I am so freaking blessed by wonderful people, I don't know what to do with all the gratitude.  Pay it forward, I guess!  Lol!

The arm parts were a little harder because of the yoga I did last night. Doing all this yoga has almost completely eliminated my sciatic back pain though! Yay!

Thursday Exercise Bike 30 minutes

My mom flaked out on me for watching my toddler, so I had to skip running today. Just as well, since Halloween+cold+pregnant are kicking my butt this week.

Also- cleaned house/bathrooms for an hour and did pregnancy yoga for 1/2 hour.
