Friday Trail Running/Walking (30 minutes)

20 minutes of running with a 5 minute warm up and 5 minute cool down of running. Taking it easy on the left knee plus the cold is killing me this week.

Also- swimming with kids for over an hour.

Thursday MA Class (2 hours)

First hour drilling, last hour pretty rough rolling. Worked on inside cradle to inside heel grab (almost like a lancashire lock). Also worked on z guard to inside heel grab. In general, worked on Z guard since I had never done much with that before.

Monday Lifting/Bodyweight Training (1 hour)

The current routine- Under bar pull ups, legs up push ups, dead lifts alternated with sumo dead lifts (180 lbs), over bar  pull ups, arm chair push ups, chair dips. Backs squats alternated with calf raises (80 lb bar). Hack squats alternated with hip thrusts (80 lb bar). Bicep curls (3 sets of 3 with 20 lb bar). And abs at the end.

Friday Lifting/Bodyweight Training (30 minutes)

Skipped abs. 3 sets of 10 pull ups, 3 sets of 10 push ups. Dead lifts/sumo dead lifts with 180lbs. Bicep curls at the end with 20 lb weight. I think my windpipe is bruised, and I felt tired and crappy all day too. Left knee really stiff today as well.

Lifts and rolls from butterfly guard. Lockdown from butterfly guard. Then last hour of rolling. BB- still wants me to work on getting to my feet, not getting knocked over, keeping my base, and defending against chokeholds.

Thursday Trail Running/Walking (35 minutes)

Did 5 minute intervals 4 times.

Remembered abs, but forgot bicep curls.

Monday Lifting/Bodyweight Training (30 minutes)

My right shoulder/neck was really hurting, so cut it short. 3 sets of 10 pull ups, 3 sets of 10 push ups. Dead lifts/sumo dead lifts with 180lbs. Bicep curls at the end with 20 lb weight. 

Also- 2 hours shopping. 1 hour grocery shopping and 1 hour christmas shopping for kids.

Swimming + HIIT Workout (35 minutes)

Swam 10 laps freestyle, 5 laps backstroke. Then did 3 HIIT intervals of 1 freestyle lap each with 3 backstroke laps in between for the down laps.

Friday Lifting/Bodyweight Training (1 hour 15 minutes)

Kept hack squats and bicep curls. Remembered abs and yoga at the end.

Wednesday HIIT/Running Hills/ Trail Walking (45 minutes)

Did 4 hill sprints on the cross country trail with walking cool down intervals. Then walked the dirt trail for another 20-25 minutes.

Tuesday Martial Arts Class (2 hours)

1 hour 15 minutes drilling, 45 minutes light rolling. Front body lock to gorgonza (gorgola rolls) Basically head rolls, granby rolls, and standing up rolls (like from capoeira, like half cartwheels). Also to peterson rolls. Sit outs to head rolls, sit outs to granby, sit outs to hand rolls. 

Also- one hour shopping

Hard class, very sore. Rolling basically last 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Worked on seat belt around someone's back to arm bar or triangle or "dirty triangle". Worked on sit outs from belly down. Worked on triangle from guard position. Worked on escaping when someone takes your back.

Ran hills 4 times. Two hills ran twice. Walking on the cross country trail in between and for warm up/cool down.

6 runs of 5 minutes each, interspersed with walking of about the same time length. Knees feel fine. Right foot kind of hurting since Friday morning, did not bother me on the run though.

Remembered abs and included some yoga at the end for stretching. Skipped bicep curls at the end due to sore shoulders from last night's class.

Thursday MA Class (2 hours)

Last hour rolling with the guys. First hour drilling, covered front body lock to sit out to fireman's carry roll. Also covered referee position, to sit out, to hip grab. Then did standing to front shoulder roll, to lancashire lock on the leg, or toe hold on the foot.
