Thursday Running 3 1/2 miles (40 minutes)

I got to run in the morning because my mom came over early to watch the kids. It was still pretty warm and sunny feeling today though.

Wednesday Swimming 55 minutes

10 laps freestyle, 4 laps back stroke, 11 laps freestyle, 4 laps back stroke, 6 laps freestyle, 5-6 laps kickboard (with flippers). 40 laps total. I have not added kickboard laps in awhile, so that was nice. My neck was hurting from the JM + hands & knees floor scrubbing from yesterday, so I had to do less back stroke laps. It was a fun swim overall though.

Tuesday JM 30DS + Extras (35 minutes)

Level 2 with 10 lb free weights and extras (in the middle, not at the end this time) with the 20 lb weight. Plus, about an hour of deep cleaning (mostly floors).

Saturday Trail Running 90 minutes.

96 degrees (with 60% humidity!). I got overheated (shocking right?). I had to take my shirt off to make it back to my car. I have never taken my shirt off before while running. There wasn't anyone around and I was overheated, so whatever ;) I got my 90 minutes back for trail running though!

I swam a mile again. 10 laps freestyle, 5 laps back stroke, 10 laps freestyle, 5 laps back stroke, 5 laps freestyle. Plus, chasing S & T around the library for TWO HOURS for the grand finale of the library reading program. I am one tired mama ;)

Saturday 1 hour trail running (HARD TRAIL)

Woot! I finally got a long run in again. I could not do my strength training yesterday because I felt sick to my stomach all afternoon. I may be developing a soy allergy (grrrrr).

Thursday Running (50 minutes)

While pushing the jogging stroller. My mom watched the older kids at the park so I could go running on a nearby paved trail. I then played watched the kids for another 45 minutes at the park.


I have been a very, very busy girl.  I went to Texas and saw Trent get married off, went to the beach, then came back and did the reception in Illinois, had Trent and Evonne for a week, and now have a couple of nephews here at my house.
I've done a lot of walking and swimming.  On vacation, I lost 3 lbs.  And then I fell down.  Again.  That's the bad news.  The good news is I didn't break the toe I hurt, it's just a bad contusion, and since they were x-raying anyway, we got a look at the other toe, and it's totally healed!  I still need to break it in gently, but I won't have to have surgery!  Score!  So, the recently injured one will need to be babied for about another week and a half.  No biggie.  Then, oh then!  It's GAME. ON.

30-35 minutes? JM with 10 lb weight and the extras with the 20 lb weight. Plus, about an hour hanging and taking down laundry from the clothes line today. My shoulders are killing me!

I'm trying to get back into working out. DW with 4 kids was pretty hard on my body, plus driving 16 hours straight to get home! Just another reminder that I'm no spring chicken anymore ;)
