Thursday Running 3 miles (35 minutes with 2 Hills)
I ran around my mom's neighborhood while she (and V) watched my kids since V was home sick from school today. V makes a good baby holder, so I did not have to take him out in the rain in the jogger.

Wednesday JM 30 Day shred level 2 + extras (35 minutes)
JM w/ 10 lbs and extras with 20 lbs. I'm sick, the kids are sick, today was kind of blaaaaahhhhhh. Also- 30 minutes planting iris bulbs. Yay for some gardening done during fall gardening season!

Monday Running almost 3 miles (35 minutes)
I think I was two blocks shy of the 3 mile mark. I blame the earlier workout for pre-tiring me ;)
Monday JM 30 Day Shred Level 2 + extras (35 minutes)
I'm still using 10 lb free weights with JM and a 20 lb weight for the extras. I wonder if I should up the weights for the "easier" exercises (back of the shoulder, top of the shoulder, triceps, and chest) since I'm doing 3 reps of 10 with them as opposed to 3 reps of 5 with the biceps and back of the bicep? I might try to make a 30 lb weight with the weight set I have to add some more strength to my strength workout extras.

Saturday Running (1 Hour)
While pushing the jogging stroller. T was good the whole time!
Notes: (so I can get T to be that good again!).
We started on the Wanda Rd side of the Watershed trail which is sunnier.
I brought a WHOLE PACKAGE of graham crackers, and he munched on them the whole time.
I brought an apple, but he did not want that.
That was pretty much all he did between playing with his toy was eat crackers.
I brought T's large linky soft toy with us.
I put a blanket on him and on the tray at times which he played with.
It was about 60 degrees and sunny.
I brought binkies and a sucker even, but I used neither of those. I might try the sucker again in the future in case he gets cranky.
I did not feed him a big breakfast, just a banana.
I brought a noisy toy, but he did not like it. Maybe in a few months.
He woke up about 10am.

Friday JM 30 day shred level 2 +10 minutes extras (35 minutes)
I seem to be getting stronger using the 20 lb free weight (along with the 10 lb weight used for the JM workout). I'm going to have to look up when I should start increasing the weight, or how often. I don't think I've ever gotten heavier than 20 lbs though? It's kind of exciting ;) Also- my back problem that made skip my strength workout on Wednesday seems to be gone. It hurt in the same place where I sprained/strained my back 10 years ago, so I was not wanting to mess with that.

It was fine except the last 20 minutes the binky got lost, and there was screaming. Oh so much screaming. Oh, and I had to take a rest day yesterday because my back was bothering me.

Monday JM 30 day shred level 2 + extras (35 minutes)
10 lb free weights for JM and 20 lb weight for the extras.

I did JM with 10 lb free weights and the extras with the 20 lb barbell. I'm getting stronger, but not ready yet to up it to 25 lbs. Maybe in another month?

Tuesday Running 3 miles (36 minutes woot!)
I woke up feeling sick to my stomach and with my allergies in general freaking out. Then, my left ovary felt like it was stabbing me starting about noon. Finally, around 4pm, everything started to feel better. I had an awesome run too when I thought I would not be up to running at all. I love the runners high on days like today!

Saturday JM 30 day shred workout 2 (25 minutes)
With 10 lb free weights. I woke up this morning and got a charlie horse as I was walking to get the baby out of the crib. Since trail running is almost all calves, I decided to just do JM today.

No formal exercise today (Friday)- but cleaning the van, doing some caulking, and yard work already done. I'm hoping to do more house stuff while the little kids take a nap.

Wednesday JM 30 Day Shred Level 3 + Extra Weights (35 minutes)
I did the JM workout with a mix of 5 and 10 lb weights, and then a burnout weight session with the 20 lb weight. I feel like the extra strength training is helping me get stronger. I also am hoping to swim tonight if I feel up to it. I've been skipping swimming lately, but I want to get back into it because it seems to help my joints feel better.

Monday JM 30 day shred Level 2 + 10 minutes extras (35 minutes)
Level 2 with 10 lb free weights. Plus, 7 more minutes of burnout weight training with a 20 lb weight (biceps, triceps, top of the the shoulder, back of the shoulder, and back of the upper arm). I'm hoping to add in some chest exercises next time get it up to 10 minutes of extras. The other 3 minutes was yoga stretches because my lower back was crying uncle ;)

Saturday Trail Running 1 hour
I wore my Altra Eves again (they're like vibrams, except the toes are not separated). I feel a little disloyal, but I like the Eves so much better than Vibrams. Too bad the Altra company stopped making the Eves. I will have to scour e-bay until I can find myself a spare pair of Eves. I had to rush home from grocery shopping after running, but I only missed the first 10 minutes of the 2nd session of GC.

With 10 lb free weights. Plus 5 more minutes with a 20 lb bar bell weight. I did 3 reps of 5 with the higher weight- biceps, triceps, shoulders, and whatever that muscle behind the upper arm is called ;)

Thursday Running 1 Hour (while pushing the jogging stroller)
Plus, another hour and a half of lifting, digging, and other yard work related activity. I went to E-ville today for running with T in the jogger while my mom watched S, and I noticed it was big trash pick up day. I found some huge pieces of fencing to put up proper walls around my compost pile with (long pieces of privacy fencing turned on their sides). They were huge, heavy, and perfect for what I needed! I had to dig and pick-axe into the compost (because of tree roots) but now my compost pile is actually functional again. Yay! My feet hurt now too ;)

I also walked another 1/2 mile (in 15 minutes, so really kind of limping along). I did not mean to take a rest day yesterday, but I had a sick husband.
