I didn't disappear again, I promise...

Ok, so I was buried under a mountain of work the last 2 weeks, but I still managed to get in 30 minutes of cardio most every day. I just wasn't able to blog about it because I was doing too much work from home after work hours.
I'm frustrated ladies. Maybe it's all in my eating habits... maybe it's the new medication... I don't know, but I don't seem to be moving in the positive direction toward svelteness.
I don't want to wax poetic on the reasons on why I seem so stagnate on the weight loss front, but I need some ideas. I need some motivation to make these necessary life changes. Please Help!

I told Liz to knock down to 1200 calories a day just for 2 weeks to get the weight loss "kick started". I also do this when I hit a plateau to kick me out of a non-weight loss rut. It works for me, she said it worked for her, maybe it would work for you?

Or try- cutting out all white flour products, white rice, and sugar. The first week sucks, but after the sugar crash is over you might enjoy some weight loss!

Or try- the super high fiber diet that somebody suggested? It was a few posts back but I might try that soon.

Try getting into a new exercise. I got bored with jogging for a while, so I did something else for a week until I was back in love with jogging. If I'm not enjoying it- I don't do it.

both timpani and ashley have some great advice. watching those calories, adding some fiber (and i highly recommend getting a high fiber cereal, it's the easiest), and doing a little cross-training can work wonders. also, it took me nearly two months, probably more like two and a half, to start seeing any results at all, other than an increase in endurance. those of us who have been ill i think are going to have a harder time. something like our body is still in emergency mode, and holding on to all the calories to heal. that's my theory anyway. keep it up, don't get discouraged if you can help it, and you will achieve sveltness, that's a promise!! and post, it's motivating, and we promise to keep up our encouragement. even if it's only a line, do it! hang in there, and way to go on your lunchtime workouts! woohoo!

And don't let fear motivate you! I read that fear is the worst motivator.

Let friendship motivate you! We're here, we want you to get better and healthy, and we're all pulling for you!
