Thursday- Exercise Bike (Pooh butt workout) with abs after- 1 Hour

I think I've almost got my butt broken in, one more time should do it. I used the Winnie the Pooh pillow on the seat this time. I wanted to bike for an hour, but I discovered the tension working thingy and I think I over did it with that. I'm growing a tiny new muscle just below my hip bone. Hello tiny new muscle! Strange, but fun.

One hour is my goal for next time! I also wanted to gradually add more and more tension. I love this ancient exercise bike already!

you can break your butt in? i never got mine to break in, it was always sore. hmmm. does this mean i have a wimpy toosh? and you did almost an hour on your second day? yes, i must say i'm feeling wimpy and intimidated all around! but aren't exercise bikes addictive? i think so anyway. i think they're great!

Maybe your tailbone is part of the joint sensitivity from the RF? I remember having to break my butt in every summer when I was kid and I would start riding my bike again. You also do the same thing when you start riding horses (or get back into it).

You are not wimpy! I'm sorry, that was not my intention when I started the exercise bike. Actually, you were the one who inspired me to get one, so don't feel bad at all.

Also, I am feeling pretty wimpy this week with the foot injury thing and not being able to run.

Yes, the first couple of times on a bike are murderous to your private regions, but it does get better.

you know, now that you mention it, i've been having tailbone problems since erik was born...mayhap i ought to bring that up with the doctor next time i'm in. and i think you're doing awesome on the bike timpani! i was mainly trying (and apparently failing) to be funny. i don't compare myself to anyone, especially timpani-the-animal, because that is a fast and slippery slope to inadequate (sp?!) depression land. not for me!!

Isn't that the truth! Grrrr! As for the whole sore butt thing. If it makes you feel any better, if I am on an upright bike I am always sore. I tend to believe that some of us have a little more padding back there or that I just have exceptionally pointy pelvic bones. Most of the time it isn't the muscles that are sore. It is the areas around bones. Just a thought.
