Back on track, again!

So, I took more days off than I planned on because I was lazy! Today I ran 3 miles and it felt good! I could have probably done more but I started late.....I had an open egg sandwich on ezekiel bread with swiss cheese and two turkey bacon strips. Lunch, I was not so good....I had a number 2, small size, at Wendy's with a Dr. Pepper.....my second one in over 6 months.....:/ Dinner Dana found Angus beef, so we had burgers and fresh potato fries.

I'm going to have to do one of those half marathons one of these days. I used to (before I went and got pregnant) ocasionally run the distance on a long run day, but I've never done it in a race. Now that I'm on my post-partum come-back, that'll have to be a goal. Sometime WAY in the future, I'll do a full marathon. But right now, I just don't have enough time to dedicate to that kind of training. Too bad you live half-way across the continent, or we could do a half-marathon together. Keep up the good work!

Liz, you don't know what you are missing out on!

Back me up Lisa, people who run are just generally nice people. I wonder if it releases happy, relaxing hormones or something. I belong to 2 different running / biking groups, and most of the people in them are just cool, laid back, nice people. What can I say runners are cool. ;)

It's true, Renae, runners do seem to be very happy people. I've noticed that when I run consistently I am also a happier person! :) When you decide to do a half marathon, let me know which one and when! I am always up for a trip and have recently found myself looking for races where I'm traveling...lol It's become an obsession.....
