hump day

No real exercise today. It's the wrong couple days of the month for me. You girls know what I'm talk about...

But for me it's as much about what I eat as my exercise routines. So on the food front:

Breakfast: Ezekiel bread w/ peanut butter, walnuts, flax seeds, & raspberry preserves.

Snack: Trail Mix

Snack: Popcorn

Dinner: Ginger/Lime Chicken & noodles w/ yellow, red, orange, green bell peppers, walnuts, flax

Dessert: three pieces Dove dark chocolate

well super good job with your diet! don't forget to drink drink drink, being that you are loosing fluid right now. and replacing some of that iron is good too. oysters, mussels, and shrimp are rich in iron, as is red meat. (mmmm, steak) eating it with something rich in vitamin C, like tomatoes or orange juice, will help you to absorb it. take it easy, and remember; drugs are a girls' best friend. :)

Thanks Liz! That's great advice. Take heed girls!! :)

Dang bleeding ulcers! I can't take pain meds or drink orange juice or eat tomatoes. I love seafood but man it's hard to get it in landlocked Utah. We don't even have a Long John Silvers or Captain D's. They have tons of fish but I'm not a fish fan I'm a seafood fan. I've got to get coastal and soon!! lol!

However I'm on an intense vitamin/mineral regimine because of the ulcers.

I'll be on those for the rest of my life but hey that's OK. I've noticed a HUGE difference in how I feel. If I skip I notice.

oh man, no drugs?! how do you survive??! and i forgot about your ulcers, bummer. you could take a supplement i suppose, for the vitamin c. you wouldn't notice one more pill right, lol! and yeah, utah would be low on seafood. guess you'll have to make do with steak, ha ha! in all seriousness, i hope you feel better soon! sometimes it just sucks bein' a girl.
