Well, I pulled out the Weights!

Thanks to you guys' inspiration, I did a full upperbody weights workout, plus abs. Then I ran the stairs for 30 minutes. The problem is that it takes so stinking long to do the weights. I want to, but I don't know how I can fit it in. We'll see

yay for renae! weights are so good for you. they do take forever though. i seriously just don't worry about the time i'm "wasting" and throw a movie in for between sets. or a book or something. use it as kind of your relaxing period for the day. relaxing and working out? what gets better than that?

Strength workouts make everything I do around the house EASIER. From carrying laundry baskets down the stairs, to putting kids in car seats, to working on the house & yard. That muscle really comes in handy!

Plus, bulk muscle increases your bone density and makes you less likely to stoop when you get older (from osteoporosis)

There are so many benefits from strength workouts. Curves is a strength workout but we're encouraged to use free weights at home so I'm starting those next week.

Girls we really are gonna be Svelte!!

Renae my thoughts are... Something is better than nothing. So even if you can't get finished because of kids, ect... it's good to get started.
